Privacy at a glance
DharmaMap stores reading progress, bookmarks, preferences, and downloaded texts on your device. Searches run locally. We do not upload these reading records, use accounts, show ads, or include behavioral analytics SDKs. System backups depend on your device settings.
The iOS app downloads public texts only when you request a library update. Opening the website or online links also makes network requests. Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the service; operational or security records are retained under its service policies. It also derives a country or region from IP addresses and reports request counts, device types, operating systems, browsers, and cache status. We use these traffic and diagnostic records to understand service usage, availability, and security events. Records may remain linked to an IP address and are not necessarily anonymous. Shared links can include the reading location. External services apply their own policies.
Support emails are forwarded through Cloudflare to the maintainer's email provider and used to answer your request and maintain the service. Contactcontact@dharmamap.orgto request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us.
